What does a one of a kind handmade vintage wooden surfboard mean to Mike Reinhold? He builds every board with great pride and passion. As a symbol of his respect for the surf community he so dearly respects, Mike upholds the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. He builds each board as if the surfing legends where watching his every move. Inspired by such pioneers as Duke Kahanamoku, George Freeth, Victoria Ka'iulani Cleghorn, Rabbit Kekai, Dutch Van Artsdalen, Miki Dora, Tom Blake... Mike pours his creativity, passion and wisdom into each and every board he builds. You will truly be amazed by the simplicity and beauty his craftsmanship.

THE PROCESS |
- Each board takes about 40 hours to build depending on the size.
- We start with about 100 Board Feet of grade A and B lumber.
- We cut the Lumber to length and weigh each piece for balance.
- Add Stringers, insert dowels and glue.
- Extensive detailed Sanding.
- Apply Serial Number with signature Circle M Surfboards logo.
- Apply long lasting UV protected clear coat finish.

THE MATERIALS |
- Our grade A balsawood is imported from Centeral South America .
- Grade A/B Dowells added for strength and appeal.
- We use only the finest Adhiesives.
- Grade A
Clear Coat Varnish with UV protection for long life.

THE RESULTS |
- You will receive a truly magnificent one of a kind handmade early 1900's signature wooden surfboard reproduction.
- Personally signed by master board builder Mike Reinhold.
- Unique individual serial number assigned to each board.
